Hong Kong Young Soloist Orchestra

Founded in 2021, the Hong Kong Young Soloists Symphony Orchestra is made up of gifted young musicians aged 8 to 23. 

Every Young Musician in HKYS will perform as both a soloist and an orchestra member. Hong Kong Young Soloists aims to be unique in Hong Kong, providing young talents the opportunity to perform regularly with world class soloists as well as Hong Kong Young talents, fascinating audiences with their performances as soloists, chamber and orchestra musicians.

Calvin WONG, before attaining his bachelor degree of Arts in Music in HKBU, has already started his teaching profession since 2000.

Conductor

Mr. Kelvin Ngai Lung Shing graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where he received a Bachelor of Music (Hons.) Degree. He joined the highly-acclaimed Asian Youth Orchestra for a performance tour to Japan, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Korea, Hong Kong USA, Canada and Australia.
